The first purchased planes will be supplied to Kazakhstan in March 2018.
According to Sputnik, the airline companies of Kazakhstan proved their intentions to purchase passenger planes from one of the largest global manufacturers of aeronautical, space and military equipment – U.S. corporation Boeing, concluding contracts for a total amount of USD 1.3 billion, Acorda reports.
As is known, the airline company SCAT Airline ordered six planes of Boeing-737 MAX 8 model.
Taking into account the planned supplies of the first plane in March 2018, this aircraft will become the first models of 737 MAX, which will operate in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, expanding the regional and international network of SCAT company.
In compliance with the terms of the existing contract, the national airline company of Kazakhstan Air Astana will purchase three planes Boeing 787 Dreamliner with the scheduled delivery in 2021.
